Spring into action!
It’s Spring, and in Term Four (beginning Monday 10 October) at the Discovery Space we’ll be celebrating the importance of our natural world, specifically garden and nature spaces. Through our stories, activities and art programs we’ll show families how to take care our flora and fauna, how we can all play an active role in living sustainably and the importance of risky play!
- Art – Join us in creARTivity for a hands-on play-based art experience exploring the mediums of chalk, print making, mosaics, weaving and painting!
- Story Time – It’s story time at the Discovery Space. Grab a seat and read along with our Educators. This term you might hear stories about protecting plants and animals, including stories about Country from Coomaditchie United Aboriginal Corporation!
- Discovery Activity – This term, we’ll be running a range of animal and plant investigations, moving and singing to animal songs, and doing yoga!
All activities are FREE after entry!
Our COVID Safe measures remain in place. Session numbers will remain capped and may be adjusted to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors and staff.
