Early Start Discovery Space is open from 9am most days of the year. Please read on for details of our variations to opening hours and Public Holiday closures.

NSW School Terms*

Discovery Space

  • Weekdays: 9.00am – 1.00pm
  • Weekends: 9.00am – 3.30pm

Gift Shop

  • Weekdays: 9:00am – 12.30pm
  • Weekends: 9.00am – 3.00pm

Dates

Our School Term opening hours apply to the following NSW School Term dates:

  • Term 1: Thursday 6 February to Friday 11 April 2025
  • Term 2: Wednesday 30 April to Friday 4 July 2025
  • Terms 3: Tuesday 22 July to Friday 26 September 2025
  • Term 4: Tuesday 14 October to Friday 19 December 2025

Public Holiday closures

The Discovery Space will be open 9.00am to 3.30pm on Monday 27 January 2025, however the onsite cafe 'Ugly Duckling' will be closed. We recommend and welcome BYO food and drink to enjoy in our Discovery Gardens.

We will be closed on the following days:

  • Monday 9 June 2025
