General entry gives you access to all Discovery Space Experiences and public programs being delivered on the day of your visit.

To guarantee entry, we recommend booking your visit online, especially during peak periods like school holidays and special events. While we welcome walk-in visitors, entry will be dependent on building capacity limits.

Please note:

All children and adults require a ticket to gain entry.
Tickets for children under 12 months of age are free.
Members are required to book a Member Ticket (no charge) to guarantee entry
Refunds or rescheduling may be available. Please refer to out Terms and Conditions.
We only accept contactless payment options on site; cash payment is not accepted.

*Discounts and concessions

15% discount offer: UOW Staff, UOW Students, Science Space Members and Big Fat Smile Family Fun Card Holders.
50% concession offer: For anyone attending that can provide proof of a Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card or Healthcare Card.
Discounted bulk ticket packages are available for not-for-profit organisations.

Large groups (16+)

For groups of 16 people or more, please submit a Group Booking Enquiry. Large group bookings are subject to availability and have specific Terms and Conditions.

Please note:

We do not offer Birthday Party packages.
Private rooms, table reservations and catering services are not available for group bookings. You are welcome to bring your own food to the Discovery Space. We kindly ask that food and drinks be consumed outside in our Discovery Gardens or in the Circle Garden and that waste is placed in the correct bins provided.
We require a minimum ratio of 1:5 (adults to children) for Group Bookings to support supervision and ensure a safe and positive experience for all visitors.
Due to building safety requirements, helium balloons are not permitted in the Discovery Space, inclusive of our outdoor spaces (Discovery Gardens and Circle Garden).

Early Start Discovery Space is committed to supporting non-profit organisations. We offer discounted bulk ticket packages to eligible organisations that have been deemed charitable by the Australian Tax Office.
