Join us as to celebrate Early Learning Matters in the Discovery Space.

Children have been learning through their connection to community and place on this land for over 60,000 years. During Early Learning Matters Week this year we are celebrating this connection and the ongoing connection that is fostered in early learning settings across the country. Organised by Early Childhood Australia, the Early Learning Matters Week brings together early childhood educators, parents, carers and community leaders around Australia to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of early learning and the difference the profession makes.

Join us on Friday July 28 for a special program on Country, where Discovery Space Educators will take children and their adults outside to learn about ways to care for Country.

10:30 to 11:30 – Meet the team in the Discovery Space foyer at 10:30, where children and their adults will be taken on this guided walk behind the Gillian Broadbent Building. This walk will focus on the importance and power of children’s voice when thinking about the ways we can and should care for Country.
