Q&A with Antarctic Researchers!

Ever wondered what it’s like to visit Antarctica? Come to the Discovery Space on Monday 29 August and talk to experts Ms Georgia Watson and Dr Melinda Waterman about Antarctica. Both Georgia and Melinda have both been fortunate to visit the beautiful continent and are here to answer childrens questions! Find out what Antarctica is, how to get there and all about the animals and plants that call Antarctica home.

There will be three Q & A sessions on the day in the Discovery Space, running for 15 minutes each:

10am

10:20am

10:40am

Please note for the health and safety of our visitors, numbers per session will be limited.

Georgia is a scientific research officer at UOW in a large national program called Securing Antarctica’s Environmental Future.
